This year marks a special milestone for Wateringbury Primary School: 50 years at its current site on Bow Road. Over that time, the school has been at the heart of many lasting friendships between pupils, parents and teachers/staff, past and present. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, FoWPS (The Friends of Wateringbury Primary School) will be holding a birthday party on 19 September 2026 (12:00-15:00), and all former & current pupils, parents and teachers/staff are warmly invited to join the celebrations. If you have any old photos or memories of the school, please share them with us. We hope to create a Memory Wall so everyone can look back and reminisce. If you are in touch with old friends who have moved away from the village, please let them know about the event. It would be lovely to see as many familiar faces as possible.
