Thursday 10 October Rural walk from Upper Halling through meadows, quiet woodland paths and some rough tracks. Steep ascent to the North Downs Way; long flat section along the North Downs Way; drop down to the Lost Village of Dode. Brief stop at Dode Church before a gradual ascent to Holly Hill with views of the Medway Valley, Medway Bridge, Rochester Castle and cathedral spire.
