with lunch at Ambient Romanian Restaurant.(Guided walk with lunch) Guide/Speaker: Christoph Bull (Local Historian) Meet: 11am – the tour finishes back at the Ambient at about 1pm. At: Ambient Restaurant, 34 Windmill Street, Gravesend (opposite the Civic Centre). Your choices from the menu are made first. The tour follows and lasts about an hour or so. Cost: £25 for both tour and lunch together. Lunch will be two courses from the menu, and a free drink of beer, wine or a soft drink. Booking and pre-payment essential via Ambient Restaurant on 07448 348613 (best to ring after 5.30pm-or call in after 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays (Wednesday closed) or after 12.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays). The important, yet invisible parish of Milton-next-Gravesend, will be having its border with Gravesend explored and all sorts of largely unknown stories retold. This is a brand new walk. The event combines Kentish history with Romanian cuisine.
