The Atom Bomb in Chatham?
Join members of the Historical Research Group of Sittingbourne on Wednesday 21st September at 7pm, for Graham Dudley’s talk ‘The Atom Bomb in Chatham?’. Chatham and the surrounding area played a significant part in ‘Operation Hurricane’, the 1952 testing of the UK’s first Atomic Bomb. Graham will provide us with a unique eye witness account about the bomb’s history, logistics and testing. This will be live at the Avenue Theatre as well as via ZOOM. The cost is £3 for non-members who can pay online for the zoom link: https://hrgs.co.uk/product-category/2022-talks/. Or call Richard on 07778793079 if you have any questions.
