ON 23rd April 2025 which is St George’s Day, the talk will from Mr. J DeRose about Chatham Historic Dockyard and The Dockyard Historical Society, then there will a short AGM and refreshments. Rainham Historical Society is a local group who meet on the 4th Wednesday evening of each month from September to April in the evenings 7.00pm for 7.30pm. The venue is St Margaret’s Millennium Centre, Gatekeepers Chase, Rainham Kent ME8 9HB. The talks are varied and although covering interesting and historical events in the local area and Kent, also will encompass talks about subjects and people that have changed lives in the past.
