Pete Allen gets into a festive mood with a history of pantomime in Oh No It Isn’t at Newington History Group’s public talk. The event is open to all (£4 at the door, members free) and includes free light refreshments plus a festive quiz and the opportunity for social chat. While there’s no meeting in January, we resume on February 26 with Joseph Rogers talking about Kent’s Tithe Barns at our new starting time of 7.30pm. The group meets monthly (except Jan. and Aug) usually on the fourth Thursday. Membership is available for £18pa.
