Medway U3A exhibition

Medway u3a has over 550 members and yet there are many local people that haven’t heard of it. It is an organisation that gives people who are no longer working full time the opportunity to develop interests, make new friends and have fun. A monthly meeting with a speaker is held, but the main attraction is our smaller groups which gather to increase their knowledge of or participation in over 80 different subjects including languages, cinema, table tennis, painting, history, walking, country dancing, bowling, philosophy, going out to eat, and many more! Most meetings of groups are during the day.

To celebrate the organisation’s Fortieth Anniversary, Medway U3A is holding an exhibition to show what it does and give members of the public a chance to find out about what goes on. This will be held in the Princes Hall at the Corn Exchange Rochester on Wednesday 21st September from 1.30 to 3.30 pm.
