Malling Poor Law Union

WATERINGBURY HISTORY SOCIETY
The speaker at our meeting in Wateringbury village hall at 8pm on Wednesday 21st October is Deborah Collins who will speak about Malling Poor Law Union (The changing role of the workhouse).
Then on 18th November we have a change of plan and welcome Bob Ogley speaking about Kent in the 20th Century (Bob had to postpone his planned visit in September so we are pleased to welcome him in November).
Our talks are free to members and visitors are welcome at £7 (cash) an evening. It’s still worthwhile becoming a member for our 2026/27 series of talks. There are 7 talks and our Christmas Social evening remaining all for £20.
