Lower Thames Crossings

Fawkham & District Historical Society. The next meeting will be on Friday 2nd October when the speaker will be Colin Poole. He will be talking about the Lower Thames Crossings. The Dartford crossing was once used to test jet engines in WW2, prior to this it was medieval and pilgrim ferries, bridges, dams and tunnels. The talk starts at 7.45pm at the Fawkham & Hartley Church Centre, Ash Road, Hartley, DA3 8DB and visitors are always welcome £5.
