Join Wateringbury Local History Society in Wateringbury Village Hall to listen to Jonathan Rice tell the story of Kent’s links to Cricket over the past two centuries in a talk called Bats, Balls and No-balls. These men and women were not just cricketers, but also bat and ball makers, patrons, gamblers, heroes and villains. They were local to places like West Malling, Teston and Penshurst.  Jonathan is currently chair of the Kent Cricket Heritage Trust.  He has written over 20 books on cricket, as well as about 50 on a wide range of subjects.   Free tea or coffee from 7.40pm  Members free.  Visitors very welcome £7 (cash) https://www.sites.google.com/site/wateringburylocalhistory/home.
