Adam Taylor presents Islands of the Medway at the monthly meeting of Newington History Group on Thursday, September 28 (7pm) in the Village Hall, High Street, Newington ME9 7JJ. It’ll be an opportunity to visit the forts, shipwrecks and natural beauty of these estuary islands without getting your feet wet! All welcome, £4 at door, inc. refreshments, free parking. NHG actively seeks to unearth, preserve and promote the heritage of the village and neighbouring areas. It meets on the fourth Thursday at 7pm.
