Introduction to Bee Keeping

An Introduction to Beekeeping
This course is designed to
give you enough information
to start keeping bees. Led by
experienced beekeepers, you
will learn about bees, hives,
protective clothing, the
equipment needed to
manage them. You will also
learn how to harvest honey
and beeswax.
The course fee of £200 includes
Associate membership of the
Medway Beekeepers Association
for one year, an excellent Manual
of Beekeeping published by the
BBKA, six two hour evening
sessions starting 28th April, held
weekly at the Association apiary
near Rochester and a practical
session with live bees.
You will also be given the
opportunity to attend other
practical sessions held every
Saturday at the apiary.
