The Fawkham & District historical society will have a talk by Jo Livingston called ‘In for a Penny, In for a Pound’ – an interesting history of British coins, notes, groats, etc. It is on Friday 1st September at the Fawkham & Hartley Church Hall, corner of Ash Road/The warrens, DA3 8DB, starting at 7.45pm.
