The Ashford Archaeological and Historical Society meeting for October is on Monday 20th at 7.30 in the Quakers Meeting House, Albert Road, Ashford. We are very much hoping that Professor Paul Bennett, late of the Canterbury Archaeological Trust, will speak to us about some of his excavations over the years. If he is not well enough to come Keith Parfitt of the Dover Archaeological Group will take his place. All welcome. Visitors £4.
