Community Talks in Herne bay (2.15pm-4.15pm) Philosophy: Moral Philosophy with Simon Kirchin, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Kent. We hear a lot about ‘ethics’ and ‘morals’ all the time. What do these words mean to philosophers and what sorts of things do they think about when they study ethics and moral philosophy? In this talk, Professor Kirchin will take us through some of the main ideas in modern day moral philosophy and give us some interesting examples and questions to think about.
