D-Day to Berlin
The 1940s Society January Meeting, 7.30pm. ‘D-Day to Berlin’ by well known historian, author and broadcaster Andy Robertshaw. On D-Day, 6th June 1944, the Allies attacked the Germans in the west and on 22nd June 1944, the Russian Red Army attacked the Germans in the east. Andy will tell us about these extraordinary, simultaneous campaigns that led to the German surrender. The meeting will take place at Otford Village Memorial Hall, Otford High Street, Otford TN14 5PQ. Admission £5 (cash only, please). Doors open 7pm. Refreshments will be available during the break. Free car parking next to Hall.
