Newington History Group Village Hall High Street, Newington ME9 7JJ Thursday, 25th May, 7pm View memorabilia from previous coronations of British kings and queens, and hear stories from those who remember Queen Elizabeth’s 1953 coronation. The evening includes the group’s annual meeting, which will last for about 30 minutes and precede the special coronation event. All are welcome, though only NHG members will be allowed to vote at the AGM. Admission is £3 at the door. It includes refreshments and there is free parking at the hall.
