Community Drama Workshops
Community Drama Workshops Return to Tunbridge WellsThis May
New Shoes Theatre is bringing back its popular Adult Community Drama Workshops to Tunbridge Wells this May after a positive response earlier this year. The six-week series runs on Tuesdays from 19 May to 23 June at The Pump Room, The Pantiles.
The friendly, inclusive workshops are open to adults of all abilities. Sessions are relaxed, playful and accessible—no previous drama experience is required. Participants can expect improvisation, movement, voice and group exercises designed to build confidence, encourage creativity and foster connection. Drop-ins are welcome, though booking is recommended to secure a place.
Workshop leader Nicolette Kay, a professional actress, director and experienced facilitator, said:
“It’s been wonderful to see such a positive response to the workshops so far. There’s a real sense of warmth and generosity in the group and I’m very much looking forward to welcoming both returning and new participants.”
Sessions cost £10, with a confidential Pay What You Can option and a reduced rate for those booking all six sessions.
New Shoes Theatre welcomes anyone curious about trying something creative in a supportive setting to join us.
