The 1940s Society – September Meeting, ‘Churchill’s Favourite Spy, The Spy Who Loved’, by Clare Mulley. Christine Glanville was Britain’s longest-serving female special agent of WWII. The vital intelligence she sent back led Churchill to call her his ‘favourite spy’. She’s amazing.’ Clare Mulley. The meeting will take place at Otford Village Memorial Hall, Otford High Street, Otford TN14 5PQ. Admission £5 (cash only, please). Doors open 7pm. Refreshments will be available during the break. Free car parking next to Hall.
