The Little Green Bookshop in Herne Bay, Kent will be holding a bookish bonanza to mark Bookshop Day (Saturday 8 October 2022).
Taking place on Saturday 8th October 2022 and running from 10:30 – 16:30, it will be one of hundreds of events taking place at bookshops across the UK to mark the annual celebration of bookshops big and small.
The first session will be run from 10:30 – 12:30 by Lucy Strange, who will be reading from her novels, ‘Sisters of the Lost Marsh’ and ‘The Mermaid in the Millpond’.
From 13:00-14:00, local artist Catherine McGrath will be talking about the creation process of portraiture.
The final session will be from 14:30-16:30 with Laura Barnett, bestselling author of The Versions of Us. Laura will be discussing her fourth novel, ‘This Beating Heart’.
Everyone is welcome to visit the bookshop during the day, though both author events are ticketed. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased via Eventbrite here:
