Do you remember Invicta, Kent’s first independent radio station, which launched 40 years ago? The inside story of the turbulent history of Invicta Sound, later renamed Invicta Radio, is told by Sue Flipping, one of the station’s voices. Her talk to Newington History Group is open to all (£4 at the door, members free) and starts at 7.30pm with time for light refreshments and a social chat afterwards.
