Basted to Plaxto Walk – Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers

Thursday 23 November A stroll through quiet country lanes from Basted to Plaxtol and back. We pass what was once Basted paper mill and then climb up towards Stangate Quarry. We then pass a shrine to a Polish pilot who was killed during WW2. Climbing steep Sheet Hill we arrive in Plaxtol. We go up Dux Hill towards Claygate Cross and then back to The Plough.
