Istead Rise Gardeners club

Istead Rise Gardeners Club is holding its monthly meeting on Thursday 3 March,

7.15pm for 7.30pm start at the Memorial Hall, Lewis Road, Istead Rise DA13 9JQ.

There is to be an Illustrated talk on – Bygone Times in Istead Rise. Showing the area

as it was when it was a used as a Market Garden. Flowers and vegetables

grown in greenhouses being sent off for sale to nearby towns and to London.

Visitors £4.00 all are welcome.
