West Kent Amateur Radio Society

West Kent Amateur Radio Society brings together people of all ages who share a fascination with radio.  For more than 70 years, we have been enjoying the world’s oldest and broadest scientific hobby.  Our members’ diverse interests include Morse code, data communication, satellite relays, and using tiny amounts of power to communicate worldwide..

We help people train for their first radio licences, we mentor beginners, and our monthly meetings include talks and discussions on many topics.   The club also takes part in national and international radio contests, and sets up special event radio stations.

We meet monthly at Bidborough Village Hall on the second Monday of the month at 8pm.  For much more detail, visit www.wkars.org.uk  or email secretary@wkars.org.uk.
