Tonbridge Local RSPB Group

Tonbridge RSPB Local Group Discover the wonderful world of birds and wildlife with the Tonbridge RSPB Local Group (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). We welcome people of all ages and levels of experience from Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood and the surrounding area. You don’t have to be an RSPB member. Join us for monthly illustrated talks, held from September to April, as well as guided nature walks and special events throughout the year. Our programme includes Dawn Chorus and Nightjar walks, an annual coach trip to a special nature reserve and a fundraising quiz. You can be a beginner or an experienced birder – all are welcome. Our friendly members are always happy to share their knowledge, making the group a great place to learn more about birds, wildlife and the natural world. Monthly Meetings Meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of each month from September to April at St Philip’s Church, Salisbury Road, North Tonbridge, TN10 4PA Admission: £4 for RSPB members, £5 for non-members, free for under-25s No booking is required for meetings—simply come along and pay at the door. Refreshments and free parking are available. The venue is on bus route 218 or 219 Nature Walks We organise guided nature walks twice monthly from September to June. Advance booking is essential, as places may be limited and meeting points can vary Everyone is welcome—come along, meet new people and discover more about the wildlife on your doorstep and beyond
