Sheerness Royal British Legion. The Sheerness branch of the Royal British Legion meets at the Coop Sports and Social Club, in St George’s Avenue, Sheerness on the first Monday of every month at 7.30pm, excepting when the first Monday falls on a Bank Holiday, when it meets the following Monday at the same time. Membership of the Branch and Legion is open to all, not just those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces. Anyone with a military, historical or community interest is invited, along with those who would like to widen their social circle.
