Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide

Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide (SAWW) is a local charity based in Marden with an international reach that works to improve anaesthesia services in low-income countries. Worldwide 5 billion people lack access to safe anaesthesia and surgery. As a result, millions suffer disability or death. SAWW works to change this by providing suitable equipment and training to hospitals in poor countries. We provide specialist equipment that can be used in even the most remote locations or basic hospitals. Recent donations have included sending anaesthesia equipment to hospitals in Cameroon, Nepal and Uganda. The impact of all these donations has been to improve anaesthesia services, prevent suffering and save lives. We have many more requests from hospitals waiting desperately for donations.
