Medway Foodbank (Trussell Trust)

Medway Foodbank (Trussell Trust) Helps local people in crisis who can get a voucher from an agency (e.g. social services, schools, churches) and exchange it for emergency food (3 meals a day for 3 days). The foodbank is currently running a delivery service. (at a foodbank centre.) All food is pre-packaged, donate at large Tesco and Asda, Morrisons Strood and some Co-op stores. Items currently needed are updated on Facebook, Twitter and www.medway.foodbank.org.uk

Shopping List
Thanks to the generosity of many, our stock levels for several items are currently good. We do however need more of the following items to continue to meet the needs of those in crisis situations:
• Milk – UHT/long-life, semi or whole
• Instant Mash
• Tinned Ham
• Tinned Corned Beef
• Tomato Passata
• Dried Milk Powder
• Sponge Puddings
• Rice Pudding
• Squash
• Instant Coffee – small jars/packs
• Ketchup
• Razors
• Shaving Foam
• Size 5 or Size 6 Nappies
• Deodorants
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
We CURRENTLY PREFER NOT TO RECEIVE more of the following well stocked items:
baked beans, pasta, and tinned soup. baked beans, pasta, and tinned soup.
