Medway Asthma Self-Help (MASH) is a resource for people with asthma and their families and carers. We provide information and advice to those who need it, including health professionals. MASH was formed in 1996 by a group of people with asthma and health professionals who wanted to improve asthma care in the community. If you need to talk to people who know and understand asthma, then get in touch – our doors are open to everyone and all of our services are free.
We provide access to a specialist respiratory nurse. These 30-minute asthma advice sessions are by appointment and may include: asthma information, help using inhalers, treatment advice, asthma airborne allergy testing, self-management plan development and lung function tests.
