MAHJONG

MAHJONG Similar to the Western card game of rummy, mahjong is a game of skill and strategy. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols.

The sessions run at the Bay United Reform Church in Minnis Bay on Monday mornings from 10-12am. The first two sessions for newbies are free thereafter it is £2 per morning with the proceeds going to the Bay United Reform Church. Afterwards there is generally a cuppa soup and rolls for those who wish to stay on and socialise for a while.
