Istead Rise Footpaths Group

Istead Rise Footpaths Group has been in existence for over 50 years. It was started in 1970 for anyone interested in walking, learning about the local area and footpaths. Since then we have had a monthly walk (usually the last Sunday of the month), starting either from Istead Rise Primary School or driving to a local starting point. Over the years we have walked nearly every footpath in the area. We are a friendly, family orientated and social group and pace our walks to suit everyone attending. All are welcome to join us, from young children to pensioners and dogs under control. A minimum level of fitness is advisable, as most walks tend to average 5 miles. As a non-profit, a small annual fee of approx £3.00 per family is requested from regular members to cover the costs of Newsletters, AGM hall hire etc. For more information ring: Jenny Grant – 07798 911421
