HooARA – Hoo Active Retirement Association

HooARA – Hoo Active Retirement Association for the over 50’s. HooARA is a friendly Club for the over 50’s. At present we have 134 members. Every second Wednesday of the month we have a Speaker Meeting and every fourth Wednesday of the month we have a Social Meeting. These meetings are held in the Hoo Village Institute from 2p.m. – 4p.m. Often on the third Wednesday of the month we have a leisurely walk followed by a pub lunch. Many trips, outings, holidays and activities are organised. The activities include Short Mat Bowls, Line Dancing, Keep Fit and a craft afternoon. The annual charge is £5 and £1 is payable at each meeting. If you feel interested in our Club, do come along to any of our meetings, where you will be made welcome.
