Birth Parents Support Service

Family Action Birth Parents Support service is supporting parents following a decision from the local authority for their children to be adopted out of the family. Family Action is an independent charity working with many families across the country. In Medway we have a specific service for Birth Parents. We provide a wide range of support to both mothers and fathers when the plan for their child is adoption. If you would like any support you can contact Birth Parents Support Service on 01634 829128.

If so, befriending might be for you… The Birth Parents Support Service is looking for Volunteer Befrienders to provide emotional support to a mum and/or dad during the adoption process who are experiencing the pain and anguish of losing a child to adoption. Volunteering is really rewarding and provides great opportunities to increase your skills and confidence. The Service covers all of Medway and offers training and supervision for all befrienders.
