Abbey Physic Community Garden

Abbey Physic Community Garden is a charity run by members in a half acre walled garden in the heart of Faversham. The charity focuses on the therapeutic benefits of horticulture and craft activities, helping to relieve the needs of people with mental health issues, and providing support to those who are socially and economically disadvantaged, as well as the wider community. People from all walks of life from the ages of 18-80 and above can become members of the garden. No experience is necessary, just time and enthusiasm. Whether to pass on knowledge, learn a new skill, make new friends, enjoy outdoor activities or just look around, there is something for everyone here. The garden is open to the public five days a week: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 9am – 2pm and Sat 11am – 3pm selling plants, crafts and vegetables as well as teas, coffees and other refreshments.
