To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, St John’s Parish Church in Swalecliffe will be open from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday 10th May. The church will be decorated with poppies and there will be an information display about the Swalecliffe men who served in the two world wars. Home-made refreshments available.
