Save the Chalet Tour of Rochester
Meet at the front of the Visitors’s Centre, Rochester at 2.30pm. The Rochester of today is far from the one that Dickens would have known. The tour takes in places that Dickens would have been familiar, and connects them with people and events of his time – and he was not universally popular! The 90 minute tour is free but a collection will be held at the end for the Chalet Restoration Fund. At the end of this tour there is to option try gruel followed by ‘nice’ tea & cake at the French Hospital. Booking necessary if you want to partake. For more info email geoff.rambler@me.com
