Marshes Walk
10:00 hrs – 4.2 miles/6.8 km – Easy (Finishes 12:30 approx.) Marshes Walk – Lite Starts at 10:00: Meet at All Saints Church, Binney Road, Allhallows. ME3 9PF. Please park with consideration on / in roads near the church. (ME3 9PG, TQ836775) We walk out to Yantlett Creek which once separated the Isle of Grain from the mainland, and afforded smugglers the opportunity to land their contraband passing a QF P-series oil bombing decoy. We return along the flood defence wall. Terrain: Some road but mostly tracks / open pasture.
