8 p.m. Bredhurst Village Hall Prof. Jan-Peter Muller – Mapping the surfaces of Mars and the Moon from orbit and from the surface: a status report Based on over 30 years experience of working on projects arising from the Mullard Space Science Laboratory’s collaboration with the NASA & ESA Lunar and Martian missions, Prof. Muller will illustrate how the techniques for mapping the surface of these bodies from orbit have developed over the years. Prof. Muller will also describe highlights of what we have learned from these imaging studies, along with many anecdotes from his work with many International Colleagues.
