Canterbury Repair Cafe
Canterbury Repair Café is a community initiative of the CCAP (Canterbury Climate Action Partnership) supported by the Women’s Institute and others
Volunteers with craft skills help mend clothes and repair broken things such as household objects, woodwork, toys, ceramics, jewellery, electrical items, computers, phones, bicycles, etc, and offer energy advice — making homes energy-efficient and saving money on fuel bills. Repairs and advice are free, although donations are welcome! There is a free clothes swap too — bring your unwanted items and swap for something pre-loved!
If you have a skill and would like to help Canterbury Repair Cafe please email us at canterburyrepaircafe@gmail.com with your name, email address, telephone number and skills offered (eg bicycles, clock repairs, sewing, energy advice, committee, etc).
