WATERLOO CENTRE (formerly OVER 60’S)

Our name may have changed, but our welcome is as warm, friendly and cheerful as ever!

The Centre  on Waterloo Road (just behind Sainsbury’s) is open every Monday to Friday 10-1pm and 1-4 on Sundays. You can pop in for a chat whilst having a hot or cold drink, toast and soup, cakes, biscuits and crisps. You could also check out the books, CD’s, jigsaw puzzles and bric-a-brac for sale. In the good weather you can sit outside and visit our garden.

Our programme of activities is open to all and includes scrabble, keep fit,  darts, cream teas, a short story club, crafts, bridge and singing for fun.

As a Community Centre we raise money for other local groups, with a Christmas and Easter Fayre, and a  sponsored walk. Recently we have raised money for a Defibrillator.

Our rooms are available for hire at very reasonable rates.
