Sittingbourne’s Steam Railway We are preserving the industrial heritage of Sittingbourne by operating the former paper mill railway between Sittingbourne Viaduct and Kemsley Down, which is within the active paper mill. Run entirely by volunteers, we operate, maintain and renew the Railway, a museum and award winning gardens. We need help with all of the elements and some behind the scenes roles too.
