New Leaf Support

New Leaf Support provides a ‘safe house’ for women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. The small local charity provides safe, comfortable, emergency accommodation and specialist floating support to help the women move forward with their lives. The property provides everything required for a family, including beds, food, furniture, toiletries, toys, clothes, additional security measures etc. Refuges do not always accept boys over the age of 14, but we accommodate all children stay with their mothers in the property as this will then enable the abused victim to leave the perpetrator without worrying about the children being separated.
