Herne Bay Constitutional Club was established in 1922. Becoming a private members club in 1937 the club flourished and in 1939 World Snooker Champion and English Billiards player Joe Davis visited the club and gave the members a display of his skills, Joe visited again in 1955 on which occasion he compiled a break of 102, which famously was his 600th century. Today the club, still situated in the High Street, welcomes men and women and are pleased to offer members a well stocked bar, 4 snooker/billiards tables, pool and darts, it also hosts annual competitions for snooker, cribbage and table bowls.
