Ashford Museum

Ashford museum is run entirly by volunteers and has been open to the publis for over 30 years. It is housed in the old ashford grammer school which is situated in the main ashford church yard. The exhibts trace the towns history from saxon times up to the present date. The musem is open each week from tuesday’s until saturdays with opening hours of 11am until 2pm each day. The museum is free to enter, but donations are alwways welcome. It is also the original home of the “wheels of time” scheme designed for junior school aged children to learne about ther local history and is part of a kent wide scheme of over 50 other museum’s and historical site.
